Look who's NOT appearing at Roskilde this year, for the fourth year running we invite you to open your mouth and shout "NO" in slow motion as we demonstrate just how much more rock there is available for your Roskilde dollar.
We believe that live rock music is a lot like bread, it tastes best fresh from the oven; lying on a shelf wrapped in plastic is not going to improve anything, despite all the hype.

We do this every year and most people get it, but there's always a couple of moaners who jump on their soap boxes: "Shame on you, Roskilde is the tops and you should consider yourselves lucky to be near such a great festival", yada yada whatever... Well yes we do go there every year and yes in many ways we do consider Roskilde to be a damn good festival - BUT then all the more reason for some BIG TIME constuctive criticism. If you love something (yes we do mean "lurve") you want it to stay sharp, you want colour, you want it to shine. Well I'm afraid that this years Roskilde Festival is looking really blunt, pale and dull. We don't know whats up, but we're getting worried, so for the fourth year running we are proud to present the NOT APPEARING LINE UP a viable alternative to the Roskilde program 2009. The message being "Wake up Roskilde, there's so much fantastic new music out there!"
